Close CRM connection guide

This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Close CRM data to Supermetrics.


You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.


After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.


Required permissions

Before using the Close CRM connector, you need to create an API key on the Close platform.


How to obtain your API key:

  1. Log in to your Close account
  2. Navigate to Settings → Developer → API Keys.
  3. Click + New API Key to create a new key.
  4. Provide a meaningful name for the key that helps you identify which integration it's used for.
  5. Once the key is created, copy and store it securely. You’ll only be shown the full key once  — after that, only a shortened reference will appear in your settings.

Query types

If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data.

  • Leads: Pull all the dimensions and metrics for your leads, filtered by created or updated date.


Connection instructions

When connecting to Close CRM, you need your API key.

  1. Select the Close CRM data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
  2. Enter the API Key.
  3. If prompted, choose to make this connection shared or private.
  4. Click Start.
  5. In your data destination, select the organizations to include in your reporting and a query type, if prompted.
