See the following use cases for examples on how to use the metrics and dimensions.
You can choose to fetch opportunities and leads by created date, last modified date, or closed/conversion date. The default setting is the created date. Learn how to use the advanced date settings in Salesforce.
See leads by date
Take a look at the number of leads created each day. In this example, we view this data for the previous month.
The "Leads" metric shows the total number of leads.
For best results in Looker Studio, use the time series chart type.
- Set the date range to Last month.
- Select the Leads metric.
- Select the Date dimension to split the query results by date.
See annual lead count by month
Fetch the annual lead count for the year and compare it with the previous year.
The "Leads" metric shows the total number of leads.
For best results in Looker Studio, use the time series chart type.
- Set the date range to This year.
- Select the Leads metric.
- Select the Year and month dimension to split the query results by month.
- Set the Comparison date range to Previous period.
See leads by status
Explore the statuses of the leads created in the last 28 days.
The "Leads" metric shows the total number of leads.
For best results in Looker Studio, use the table or bar chart type.
- Set the date range to Last 28 days.
- Select the Leads metric.
- Select the Lead status dimension to split the query results by date.
See number of opportunities per owner
Take a look at the distribution of opportunities in your team. In this example, we take a look at the data from last week and compare that to the week before that.
The "Opportunity count" metric shows the total amount of opportunities.
For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.
- Set the date range to Last week.
- Select the Opportunity count metric.
- Select the Opportunity owner dimension to split the query results by opportunity owner.
- Set the Comparison date range to Previous period.
