This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Awin data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
To connect Supermetrics to Awin, you need Awin API credentials.
- Go to the Awin API credentials page.
- Enter your Awin password and click Show my API token.
- Copy the API token.

Query types
Query types define what sort of metrics and dimensions are available. You need to select one of the following query types when pulling data:
- Publisher report: Get aggregate performance metrics, like impressions and transactions, per publisher.
- Creative report: Fetch aggregate performance metrics, like impressions and transactions, per creative used.
- Transactions report: Pull all individual transactions to check their status and commissions paid.
Connection instructions
When connecting to Awin, you need to insert your API key (API token) and select the accounts and query type to use when prompted.
- Select the Awin data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
- Enter your API key.
- Give your login a name. The name can be anything — its purpose is for you to recognize the login later in case you have multiple logins.
- If prompted, choose to make this connection shared or private.
- Click Start.
- In your data destination, select the accounts and query types to use.
