This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Eskimi data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
Before using the Eskimi data source, you need your Eskimi Username, password and Client ID, Client secret and Advertiser ID of the advertiser you want to connect and fetch data for.
How to obtain your API credentials
- Log in to the Eskimi DSP dashboard.
- In the top right corner, click the three dot icon and select API Clients.
- Click Add Client.
- Enter a Client Name, the name is for reference only and does not affect the token.
- Click Generate to create a Client Secret and click Save.
- After refreshing the page, click Generate Client Token.
- Enter your account password for verification, then click Confirm Identity & Generate.
- Copy the generated Client Token to use for API requests.
- Click Save to Finalize.
How to obtain your Advertiser ID
- Log in to your Eskimi DSP dashboard.
- Switch to the advertiser account you want to connect.
- Open: https://dsp.eskimi.com/admin/campaigns
- Find your Advertiser ID in the URL as "admin_id" (for example: ?admin_id=2100).
Query types
If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data.
- Campaign performance: Pull all the dimensions and performance metrics for your DSP campaigns.
Connection instructions
- Select the Eskimi data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
- Enter the API credentials, your advertiser ID, your username and password, and give a name for your login.
- If prompted, choose to make this connection shared or private.
- Click Start.
- In your data destination, select the advertisers to include in your reporting and a query type, if prompted.
