This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your G2 Reviews data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
You can query data from G2 Reviews without logging in to G2.
To pull data on a product or service on G2 Reviews, you'll need to copy the identifier from its G2 Reviews URL.
For example, if the G2 Reviews URL is g2.com/products/example/reviews, its company ID is example.
Query types
If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data.
- Reviews: Fetch up to 1,000 of the latest public reviews for a product or service.
Connection instructions
When connecting to G2 Reviews, you need to enter the software or service names to query.
- Select the G2 Reviews data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
- If prompted, choose to make this connection shared or private.
- Click Start.
- In your data destination, select a query type, if prompted, and enter the software or service name to include in your report.
