This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Bambuser data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
To connect Supermetrics to your Bambuser account, you need your Bambuser base URL and a copy of your API key.
Get your base URL
- Log in to Bambuser, and open your dashboard.
- Take a look at the URL in your address bar.
- If the URL begins with lcx.bambuser.com/, your base URL is:
https://liveshopping-api.bambuser.com/v1. - If the URL begins with lcx-eu.bambuser.com/, your base URL is:
https://liveshopping-api-eu.bambuser.com/v1.
- If the URL begins with lcx.bambuser.com/, your base URL is:
Get your API key
- To get the API key, contact Bambuser support. Ask for an API key with READ_STATS and READ_SHOW scopes. Learn more in Bambuser's documentation.
- Log in to Bambuser, and open your dashboard.
- On the left-hand side, click Settings.
- Under Settings, click Integrations.
- Select API keys.
- Find the API key you want to copy, and click Copy. Store this in a secure place. If you don't see an API key here, contact Bambuser support.
Connection instructions
When connecting to Bambuser, you need to provide your base URL and API key.
- Select the Bambuser data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
- Enter the base URL and API key.
- Give your login a name to recognize the login later in case you have multiple logins.
- If prompted, choose to make this connection shared or private.
- Click Start.
