Once you’ve connected to Awin, you're ready to create your first queries!
Query types for this data source
When connecting to the Awin data source, you need to select a query type. The query type defines what sort of metrics and dimensions are available.
- Publisher report: Get aggregate performance metrics, like impressions and transactions, per publisher.
- Creative report: Fetch aggregate performance metrics, like impressions and transactions, per creative used.
- Transactions report: Pull all individual transactions to check their status and commissions paid.

See commission by date
Take a look at how your commission has evolved over time. In this example, we take a look at the data for the last 3 months.
Use the "Transactions report" query type.
The "Commission amount" metric shows the amount of commission.
For best results in Looker Studio, use the time series chart type.
- Select the Transactions report query type.
- Set the date range to Last 3 months.
- Select the Commission amount metric.
- Select the Date dimension to split the query results by date.
See commission by advertiser ID
View your commission amounts by advertiser ID. In this example, we take a look at the data for the ongoing year and further split the data by date.
Use the "Transactions report" query type.
The "Commission amount" metric shows the amount of commission.
For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.
- Select the Transactions report query type.
- Set the date range to Year to date.
- Select the Commission amount metric.
- Select the Advertiser ID and Date dimensions to split the query results by advertiser and date.
See commission and sales by country
You can easily see your commission and sales numbers. In this example, we look at the data for the ongoing month and include the advertiser country and transaction ID details.
Use the "Transactions report" query type.
The "Sale amount" metric shows the amount of sale.
The "Commission amount" metric shows the amount of commission.
For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.
- Select the Transactions report query type.
- Set the date range to This month to date.
- Select the Commission amount and Sale amount metrics.
- Select the Transaction ID and Advertiser country dimensions.
