This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Quantcast data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
To connect Supermetrics to Quantcast, you need:
- A copy of your account ID
- An API key
- An API secret
Get your account ID
- Log in to Quantcast.
- Click Account list in the top right.
- Click View all.
- Copy the account ID for the account you want to connect.
Get your API key and API secret
- Log in to Quantcast.
- In the top right, click the Profile icon, and then My profile.
- Navigate to the "API key" section, and click Create API Key.
- Quantcast will show your API key and API secret once. Copy these — remember to keep them safe and secure.
Query types
If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data.
- Campaigns: Measure the performance of your advertising campaigns.
Connection instructions
When connecting to Quantcast, you need to provide your credentials.
- Select the Quantcast data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
- Enter the Account ID for the account you want to connect.
- Enter that account's API key and API secret.
- Give your login a name. The name can be anything — its purpose is for you to recognize the login later in case you have multiple logins.
- If prompted, choose to make this connection shared or private.
- Click Start.
- In your data destination, select the query type, if prompted.
