New feature: Shared connections in Supermetrics for Excel

We’re rolling out a new way to manage data source account logins for teams that use Supermetrics for Excel and no other Supermetrics products.

What’s changing

Starting from today, you’ll be able to share any data source account login — referred to as connections — with your team. This means anyone who uses your Supermetrics license can use any of your connections to create queries without having to log in. Your credentials will automatically authenticate them.

You can also designate any connection as private, which means that only the person who owns it will be able to use it to create queries in Supermetrics.

Learn more about shared and private connections, and how to manage them in both Excel and the Team Site.

What's coming

We'll roll this new feature out to Google Sheets and Data Studio in the near future. We appreciate your patience.
