This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Bing Webmaster Tools data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
To connect Supermetrics to Bing Webmaster Tools, webmasters need an API key. Follow Microsoft's instructions to generate this API key.
Query types
Query types define what sort of metrics and dimensions are available. You need to select one of the following query types in Looker Studio.
- Blocked URLs
- Crawl issues
- Crawl stats
- Disavowed links
- Fetched URLs
- Query parameters
- Rank and traffic stats
- Query stats
- Page stats
Connection instructions
When connecting to Bing Webmaster Tools, you need to provide your API key.
- Select the Bing Webmaster Tools data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
- Enter your API key.
- If prompted, choose to make this connection shared or private.
- Click Start.
- In your data destination, select the sites to include in your reporting and a query type, if prompted.
