This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Celtra data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
To connect Supermetrics to your Celtra account, you need to get your Celtra Account ID and to create an API application inside Celtra.
- Log in to Celtra, and open your dashboard.
- Go to the Reporting Center.
- Click the green + button on the right to open the report builder.
- In “Search dimensions”, enter “Account ID”.
- In “Search metrics”, select any metric from the list.
- Click Generate report.
- Copy your Account ID from the report to use later.
- Log in to Celtra, and open your dashboard.
- Click your name in the top right of the navigation bar and select Settings.
- Select the API Apps tab.
- Click Add API App.
- Enter a name for the app, for example, “Supermetrics”.
- Click Save to create the API app.
- Copy the App ID from the list and copy it for later.
- Under Secret Key, click Show Key.
- Copy this key and store it in a secure place for later.
Query types
If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data.
- Campaign performance: Measure the performance of your creatives on different platforms.
Connection instructions
When connecting to Celtra, you need to insert the account ID, app ID, and secret key and select the accounts to use when prompted.
- Select the Celtra data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
- Enter your Account ID, App ID, and Secret Key.
- Give your login a name. The name can be anything — its purpose is for you to recognize the login later in case you have multiple logins.
- If prompted, choose to make this connection shared or private.
- Click Start.
- In your data destination, select the accounts to use in your reporting and a query type, if prompted.
