How to fetch Salesforce data by last modified date in data warehouse and API destinations

We have added the option to fetch Opportunity and Leads data based on the "Last modified date". This allows data warehouse and API users of the Salesforce data source to fetch updates of the records that were modified within the selected date range. Fetching data by the last modified date benefits heavy users, as it allows users to create lighter transfers and avoid querying for big amounts of historical data to list older records that have recently been modified.

Instructions

In the general settings, use the Data fetched by drop-down menu to select if the data is fetched based on "Created date" or "Last modified date".

  • For data warehouse transfers, the "Last modified date" option fetches only the records that were modified during the days included in the refresh window.
  • For API, the "Last modified date" option fetches the records that were modified during the selected date range.

The Leads dates based on and Opportunities dates based on drop-down menus also have the option to select data based on "Last modified date".

Note that the selection made in the Data fetched by drop-down menu doesn't override the settings in the Leads dates based on and Opportunities dates based on drop-down menus.
