WooCommerce connection guide

This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your WooCommerce data to Supermetrics.

You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.

After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.

Required permissions

To connect Supermetrics to your WooCommerce store, you’ll need a consumer key, consumer secret, and store URL.

These keys can be obtained from WooCommerce. Go to WooCommerceSettingsAdvancedREST API. WooCommerce's documentation has detailed steps to get the keys.

Note that prior to WooCommerce version 3.4, the key generation was located at WooCommerceSettingsAPIKey/Apps.

Query types

Query types define what sort of metrics and dimensions are available. You need to select one of the following query types when pulling data.

  • Sales overview: Report the overall sales for the store.
  • Orders: Fetch details of orders for your store in a certain time range.

Connection instructions

When connecting to WooCommerce, you need to enter your consumer key, consumer secret, and store URL and select a store and query type when prompted.

  1. Select the WooCommerce data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
  2. Insert your consumer key, consumer secret, and store URL.
