This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Meltwater data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
To use this connector, you need:
- Access to the Meltwater API as part of your Meltwater subscription
- A Meltwater API token
You can create and get your API token following these steps:
- In Meltwater, go to Account → Meltwater API in the left-hand navigation.
- If you do not have existing API token, click Generate API token. Meltwater states that you can only have one API token at any time.
- After you have generated the API token, you can enter a name for it.
- Remember to copy the API token and store it securely since it is not possible to access the token in the future.
