If you need to connect this data source to one of our data warehouse or cloud storage destinations, explore our data warehouse and cloud storage setup guides.

Before you begin

Before using the ActiveCampaign connector, you need a copy of your API URL and API key and appropriate permissions for data access on your account.

Set user permissions

Depending on your needs, your account needs access to the following objects in ActiveCampaign:

  • Campaigns
  • Deals
  • Accounts
  • Contacts

You can set these permissions for users and groups in ActiveCampaign's admin settings. To get data on your report, select all permissions for the object. Learn how to set user permissions in ActiveCampaign.

If you're an admin user, make sure that you have the necessary permissions. If not, add yourself to a permission group with the necessary permissions.

Each user in ActiveCampaign has their own API URL and API key. To get these:

  1. Log into ActiveCampaign with your account.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Developer.
