This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Walmart Connect (Display) data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
Before using the Walmart Connect (Display) connector, you need to grant Supermetrics read access to your Display Ads data. Follow the steps below.
- Open the Manager profile and account page in Walmart Connect.
- Ensure the correct organization is selected on the left side menu.
- Click Access and select the Partner tab.
- Click +Add Partner.
- In the API Partner name drop-down menu, select Supermetrics (Read access).
- Select the correct Ad account and set access levels for selected ad accounts.
- Click Add Partner.
After sufficient access to Supermetrics has been granted to read your data, you need an Advertiser ID for an account you want to fetch data for.
Additionally, you need:
- Campaign ID that belongs to the advertiser you’re connecting with.
- Ad Group ID that belongs to the campaign you connected with.
Note that once the connection is established, you'll be able to fetch data from all campaigns and ad groups under the specified advertiser, not just the ones you provided during setup.
Query types
Query types define what sort of metrics and dimensions are available. You need to select one of the following query types when pulling data:
- Campaign
- Line item
- Tactic
- SKU
- Creative
- Bid
- New buyer
