Supermetrics for Google Sheets and Supermetrics for Excel include the option to add a results summary to your queries. The results summaries are supported for all data source connectors except for the JSON/CSV and Database connectors.
For most queries, the results summary option uses GPT 4 (OpenAI) to summarize the results of your data. If your query exceeds the model's content size limit, the option switches to using GPT 3.5.
The results summary gives you a quick and easy way to understand the key takeaways from your marketing data. By default, we ask the Al model to be a marketing analyst and summarize the results from that perspective. The summary option summarizes the data that you choose to include in your query.
Instructions
Google Sheets
- Select a query to add the summary for, and click the 3-dot menu.
- Select View query insights, and check the Add results summary by AI checkbox. To use a custom prompt instead, type your custom prompt into the Custom prompt field. The summary will be automatically generated and added to the top of your spreadsheet.
- Update the query.
Excel
- Select a query to modify or start creating a new one.
- Under Options, check the Add results summary by AI checkbox. If you want to use a custom prompt instead of the default prompt, navigate to Options in the Supermetrics sidebar and type AI_SUMMARIZE_PROMPT_"This is the prompt" into the Advanced settings box.
- Update the query.
