This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Flashtalking data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
Before using the Flashtalking data source connector, you need the following:
- A Flashtalking username and password. The username and password are the same as those you use to log in to the Flashtalking Hub Reports application.
- API access for your Flashtalking account, including access to the Campaign Manager API.
Query types
If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data.
- Campaign: Measure paid media performance. Get data about clicks, cost, and interactions. Group the data by date, content, placement, advertiser, and so on.
Connection instructions
When connecting to Flashtalking, you need to insert your Flashtalking username and password and select the account when prompted.
- Select the Flashtalking data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
- Enter your username and password.
- If prompted, choose to make this connection shared or private.
- Click Start.
- In your data destination, select the accounts to use in your reporting and a query type, if prompted.
