This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Clockify data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
To connect Supermetrics to Clockify, you need:
- An account with the Admin user role (or higher). Learn more about Clockify user roles and permissions.
- An API key. You can generate the API key under Profile settings in Clockify. Remember to keep this safe once you have it. Learn how to generate an API key in Clockify.
Connection instructions
When connecting to Clockify, you need to provide your API key and select the accounts to use when prompted.
- Select the Clockify data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
- Enter your API key.
- Give your login a name. The name can be anything — its purpose is for you to recognize the login later in case you have multiple logins.
- If prompted, choose to make this connection shared or private.
- Click Start.
- In your data destination, select the accounts to use in your query.
