This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction) data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
To connect from Supermetrics to your CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction) account, you need a personal access token and your company ID (CID).
- The personal access token is generated either by your admin or yourself at CJ Affiliate's developer portal.
- You can see your company ID (CID) by clicking on your company name in the upper right corner on the CJ Affiliate platform. The CID number is shown under the CID column.
Query types
If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data.
- Commission detail report: The commission detail report is available to both advertisers and publishers to access nearly real-time commission data from their accounts.
Connection instructions
When connecting to CJ Affiliate you need to insert your CJ Affiliate credentials.
- Select the CJ Affiliate data source on the Supermetrics Hub or in the data destination.
- Insert the personal access token and your company ID (CID), and give a name for your login.
- If prompted, choose to make this connection shared or private.
- Click Start.
- In your data destination, select the login you just named and, if prompted, select a query type.
