What's happening
In December, we're updating our Instagram Insights, Facebook Ads, and Facebook Insights data source connectors to new API versions. This article highlights the changes that are introduced with the updates.
These updates require action from you to keep queries and transfers running.
Instagram Insights
We're updating our Instagram Insights data source connector to the latest Graph API version on December 11, 2023.
Authentication changes
This update affects our authentication flow. With the new API version, it's required to have additional permissions approved to access any pages managed through the Meta business manager. This means that you have to reauthenticate your connection to Instagram Insights to authorize the new permissions before December 11, 2023.
If you don't reauthenticate and authorize the new permissions, your Instagram Insights queries will start to fail after December 11, 2023.
Field deprecations
With this update, the following field will be deprecated and it will start returning empty data after December 11, 2023. Remove this field from your queries.

Facebook Insights
We're updating our Facebook Insights data source connector to the latest Graph API version on December 12, 2023.

What you need to do
Reauthenticate your connection to Instagram Insights before December 11, 2023, and to Facebook Insights before December 12, 2023. Failure to do so will cause your queries to fail.
Remove the deprecated fields if you're using them in your Instagram Insights or Facebook Ads reporting.
