Adobe Commerce (Magento) connection guide

This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Adobe Commerce (Magento) data to Supermetrics.

You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.

After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.

Required permissions

Before using the Adobe Commerce (Magento) connector, you need to generate API credentials in your store admin page.

To get your API credentials:

  1. In the Magento admin panel, go to SystemIntegrations and select Add new integration.
  2. Enter a name for the integration, for example, "Supermetrics", and enter your password. You can ignore the other fields.
  3. Under Basic Settings on the left-hand side, select API and give the integration access to the following resources:
    • Sales > Operations > Orders > Actions > View
    • Customers > All Customers
    • Stores > Settings > All Stores
  4. Click Save.
  5. In the list of integrations, click Activate for the new integration and click Allow.
  6. Copy the generated credentials (consumer key, consumer secret, access token, access token secret).

Query types

  • Orders: Fetch order-level data and metrics from your store.
  • Order items: Fetch item-level data and metrics from orders in your store.
  • Customers: Fetch details of all customers registered in your store.
