Supermetrics uses the term data source account to describe a user account in a data source.
For example, Facebook Ads uses "accounts," while Google Analytics 4 uses "properties," and Instagram Insights uses "profiles". In Supermetrics, all of them are called data source accounts.
Review our list of data source account names to learn the terms that each data source uses to describe its user accounts.
Number of data sources per license
Each Supermetrics license supports a specific number of data source accounts for each data source it's connected to. This is your license's data source account quota.
The number of data source accounts per license depends on the license type. To see how many data source accounts your license allows you to use, go to the Licenses page on the Supermetrics Hub. The number of data sources shows in your license features.
You can upgrade your license to include more data source accounts on the Supermetrics Hub. For more than 20 additional data source accounts, contact our team to learn more.
Learn how to track your quota and license usage and refresh your data source accounts.
Note
All data sources under the same license share the same number of data source accounts.
For example, if you want to pull data from 10 Facebook Ads accounts and 7 LinkedIn Ads accounts, you should purchase a license that supports 10 data source accounts. This way, all your connected data sources — including Facebook Ads and LinkedIn Ads — will be able to use 10 data source accounts each.
