Facebook Business Manager: Authentication and reauthentication guide

This guide will walk you through how to authenticate or reauthenticate Facebook Business Manager with Google Sheets, Data Studio, and Excel, as well as data warehouse destinations like Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and the Supermetrics API.

Main features

With Facebook Business Manager, you can:

  • Get a list of invoices, and their values, that Facebook has issued to your account.
  • Fetch invoicing amounts by, for example, advertisers, ad account, campaigns, invoicing entity, or by invoicing period.
  • Fetch rich metadata for each invoice: type, billing period, billing date, due date, payment status, link to the invoice, etc.
  • Get campaign and performance data related to each invoice.

Instructions


Google Sheets Data Studio  Excel Data integrations
Before you can authenticate the data source in Google Sheets, you need to install the Supermetrics add-on.
  1. Open a new Google Sheets file. 
  2. Navigate to ExtensionsSupermetricsLaunch to open the Supermetrics sidebar.
  3. Under Data source, select Facebook Business Manager.
  4. Click Start.
  5. A Facebook login page will open. Enter your password, and click Continue
  6. Click Continue as to authenticate with that user account.
    If you wish to authenticate with a different user account, click Log in to another account.
  7. Click Continue to confirm. 
  8. Under Select accounts, select the accounts.
