Affluent: Authentication guide

This guide will walk you through how to authenticate or reauthenticate Affluent with Google Sheets, Data Studio, and Excel, as well as data warehouse destinations like Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and the Supermetrics API.

Before you begin

To connect Supermetrics to Affluent, you need an API key and an API URL.

  • Contact your Affluent admin to get your API key.
  • For the API URL, replace {server} in this URL with the name of your Affluent server: https://{server}-api.affluent.io/
    • Find your Affluent server name in your Affluent URL.
    • For example, if your Affluent URL was accountname.affluent.io/, your server name would be accountname.
  • Don't forget to include / at the end of your API URL.
