Awin: Authentication guide

This guide will walk you through how to authenticate or reauthenticate Awin with Supermetrics in Google Sheets, Data Studio, and Excel. 


Before you begin

To connect Supermetrics to Awin, you need API credentials. Learn how to create these credentials.

  

Query types

Supermetrics supports 3 Awin query types.

  • Publisher report: Get aggregate performance metrics, like impressions and transactions, per publisher.
  • Creative report: Fetch aggregate performance metrics, like impressions and transactions, per creative used.
  • Transactions report: Pull all individual transactions to check their status and commissions paid.

Instructions


Google Sheets Data Studio  Excel Data integrations
Before you can authenticate Awin in Google Sheets, you need to install the Supermetrics add-on.
  1. Open a new Google Sheets file. 
  2. Navigate to ExtensionsSupermetricsLaunch to open the Supermetrics sidebar.
  3. Click Create query.
  4. Under Data source, select Awin.
  5. Enter your account name and API key and click Start.
  6. Select your accounts.
  7. Navigate to Report configuration.
  8. Select the query type and its filters.

Troubleshooting
