Stripe: Authentication guide

This guide will walk you through how to authenticate or reauthenticate Stripe with Google Sheets, Data Studio, and Excel, as well as data warehouse destinations like Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and the Supermetrics API.

Before you begin

To connect Supermetrics to Stripe, you need the Administrator user role level. Learn about user roles and permissions for team members in Stripe's documentation.

Note that you can't run queries with 2 Stripe accounts simultaneously. Log out and back in with a different account to create queries for 2 separate accounts.

Google Sheets Data Studio  Excel Data integrations
Before you can authenticate the data source in Google Sheets, you need to install the Supermetrics add-on.
  1. Open a new Google Sheets file.
  2. Navigate to ExtensionsSupermetricsLaunch to open the Supermetrics sidebar.
  3. Under Data source, select Stripe.
  4. Click Start.
  5. Enter your email address and password, and click Log in.
  6. Select the account you want to use to log in, and click Connect.
