As a Supermetrics user with a Growth or Pro package, you can run a limited number of Data Blending and Custom Fields queries and use them in the data destinations you have access to. We call Data Blending and Custom Fields transformations.
You can use the Data Blending and Custom Fields to blend different data together and build fields that fetch particular data that supports your precise use case.
Take a look at these support articles to learn more about various types of transformations you can apply to your data:
With Growth and Pro packages, you can run 50 Data Blending and Custom Field queries per month. If you need more, contact us to upgrade your Supermetrics subscription to the Business package and get unlimited access to the Data Blending and Custom Fields features.
How does it work?
If you have a Pro or Growth subscription, you can start building your data transformations on the Supermetrics Hub, under Transform.
Follow these instructions to get started with transforming your data:
- How to create and manage data blends
- How to use functions with custom fields
- How to use lookups with custom fields
- How to use conditions with custom fields
You can run 50 Data Blending or Custom Fields queries per calendar month. The number of queries you can run resets at the end of each month. Note that you can create an unlimited number of Data Blends and Custom Fields – the limit of 50 queries per month applies only to queries that you run.
In this context, a query is data being loaded successfully to a destination. See the table for what counts as a query and how different queries or refreshes use your quota.
Example | Number of queries used |
---|---|
User creates a new query on the Supermetrics Hub and runs it for the first time in their data destination | 1 query |
User refreshes the query in their data destination with the same parameters and the data comes from our cache | 0 queries |
User changes a parameter in the query and the data is fetched from the source API | 1 query |
User loads a Looker Studio dashboard several times and the data doesn't come from the cache | As many queries as the times the dashboard and its queries are refreshed with new data from the API (To avoid hitting the 50 queries limitation, disable Looker Studio’s automatic refresh) |
User creates a Data Blend with 7 Custom Fields in it and runs the query | 1 query |
User creates 50 different queries using Custom Fields and Data Blending and runs all of them at once | 50 queries |
User creates a query, runs it, and the query fails | 0 queries |
User creates a query and sets it to refresh daily | 28 to 31 queries, depending on number of days in a month |
