Newsletter2Go: Authentication guide

This guide will walk you through how to authenticate or reauthenticate Newsletter2Go with Google Sheets, Data Studio, and Excel, as well as data warehouse destinations like Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and the Supermetrics API.

Before you begin

To connect Supermetrics to Newsletter2Go, you need a Newsletter2Go username and password, and an Auth-Key.

Find your Auth-Key

  1. Log in to Newsletter2Go.
  2. Click your account name in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Account.
  4. Click the API tab.
  5. Copy your Auth-key.

Query types

Supermetrics offers the Campaign Performance query type, which pulls data on the performance of email campaigns.

For Excel users

If your team uses Supermetrics for Excel, you’ll see different options for managing and sharing data source connections in that destination. Learn more.


Google Sheets Data Studio Excel Data integrations
Before you can authenticate the data source in Google Sheets, you need to install the Supermetrics add-on.
  1. Open a new Google Sheets file.
  2. Navigate to ExtensionsSupermetricsLaunch to open the Supermetrics sidebar.
  3. Click Create query.
  4. Under Data source, select Newsletter2Go.
  5. Click Start.
  6. Enter your credentials and click Log in.
  7. Click Allow.
  8. Under Select accounts, select the accounts.
