Pinterest Public Data connection guide

Use this guide to connect Pinterest Public Data to Supermetrics.

Before you begin

Pinterest Public Data allows you to collect publicly available data about Pinterest posts. It doesn't require you to log in to a specific account.


Query types

  • Pinterest pins for URLs: A count of how many times a specific URL has been pinned
  • Pinterest user data: User information like account name, profile link, follower count, and more
  • Pinterest pins for users: Data on user pins, including Pin URL, image, description, and more

Google Sheets Data StudioExcel

Make sure you've installed the Supermetrics add-on before you connect.

  1. Open a new Google Sheets file.
  2. Navigate to ExtensionsSupermetricsLaunch to open the Supermetrics sidebar.
  3. Click Create query.
  4. Under Data source, select Pinterest Public Data.
  5. Click Start.
  6. Navigate to Report configuration.
  7. Select your query type, and then add your Pinterest username under Type URLs. You can add more than one username, each on a new line.
