How to configure a BigQuery destination

Create BigQuery queries directly on the Supermetrics Hub. This method supports 2 years of backfills and more regions than our classic BigQuery destination, and uses Standard tables instead of Sharded tables.

An efficient data storage format means that you'll see faster results and larger query sizes when working with BigQuery in the Supermetrics Hub than you would with our classic destination.

Before you begin

Before you create a BigQuery destination, please make sure all prerequisites are met. Learn more about the prerequisites for creating a BigQuery destination.

BigQuery configuration

The configuration stage of creating a new destination in the Hub includes the following fields.

  1. Display name will be used as the name of this destination within the Hub, to distinguish it from other destinations.
  2. Dataset name is the name of a previously created dataset you want Supermetrics to write to.
  3. Auth key is service account key for your Google Cloud service account. Paste the entire content of the Service account JSON file you download from BigQuery.
