How to customize Supermetrics Charts for Looker Studio

Once you've set up your data visualization charts in Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio), use these instructions to optimize and modify them.

Change a chart's color and theme

Use the Theme and Style tabs to customize how your charts look and feel.

Optimize a chart with many dimensions

If you're using a chart that returns multiple results in a dimension — a Scorecard, gauge or progress bars, return on advertising spend chart, or a simple bar chart — limit the number of dimensions it returns. This will ensure you only pull in the data you really need.

1. Select your chart in your Looker Studio report.
2. Expand it to cover the full report page.
3. Click the Style tab.
4. Set the Decimal precision for Metric field to 1, and the Limit number of Dimensions Shown field to only the number of dimensions you want the chart to return.
