New feature in beta: The query list

We’re excited to introduce the query list for our Google Sheets product. The query list organizes your queries in one place in the Supermetrics sidebar, giving you more visibility and control over your reports.

The query list is launching in public beta, which means we're still fine-tuning its design and functionality. If you enable this feature and have any feedback, we’d love to hear from you.

Uses and benefits

With the query list, you can:

  • See every query in a spreadsheet in one place
  • Quickly select, refresh, modify, and delete queries
  • More easily navigate complex spreadsheets
  • Filter and sort queries
  • Easily identify queries with errors

Try the query list in Google Sheets

To add the query list to Supermetrics for Google Sheets:

  1. Open the Supermetrics sidebar.
  2. On Mac, press and hold command + shift and click the Query tab at the top of the sidebar. If you’re using Windows, press the ctrl key instead of command.
  3. You’ll see the tab switch to a query lists view immediately.

To turn off the query list:

  1. Open the Supermetrics sidebar.
  2. Press alt + shift and click the Query tab at the top of the sidebar.
  3. You’ll see the tab switch to the standard view immediately.

Keep in mind

If you start using the query list, there are a couple of things you should note.

  • A query list shows all of the queries that are currently in your spreadsheet. It’s not a list of queries you’ve run, for example. It’s just a list of everything Supermetrics is pulling to your spreadsheet.
  • You might see queries in the list that you can’t see in the spreadsheet. This can happen when a query’s data is removed but the query itself isn’t deleted from the spreadsheet.
    • To delete one query, click the three-dot menu in the query list and select Delete query.
    • To delete multiple queries at once, open the SupermetricsQueries tab (this is hidden by default — navigate to Extensions → Supermetrics → Manage queries to show it) and delete the rows for any queries you want to remove.
