Creating a destination: Prerequisites for Snowflake

Before you create a destination to start transferring data to your Snowflake Data Warehouse, see these prerequisites.

Once you've made sure all prerequisites are met, see our guide for How to configure a data destination.

Prerequisites for creating a destination

  1. A running Snowflake instance
  2. Creating a Snowflake data destination with Supermetrics works for Snowflake resources (DATABASES and SCHEMAS) available to the PUBLIC role. If you are not using PUBLIC roles, please see our guide on roles/privileges.
  3. Sufficient permissions.
  4. IP whitelisting is needed if your instance has restricting network policy enabled, or you want to create a completely new network policy.
