Adform report building guide

Use the Adform data source connector to pull data from multiple campaigns in one report to see which one is working the best and in which locations are your ads performing the best. You can also combine the data with your social media ads to have an overview of your campaign’s success.

For a full list of metrics and dimensions available in our Adform data source connector, take a look at our Adform documentation.

Once you've connected to Adform, you're ready to create your first queries!

Try these queries

See the following use cases for examples on how to use the metrics and dimensions.

See cost and number of tracked ads

Take a look at the cost and number of tracked ads of your campaigns on the monthly level. In this example, we take a look at the data for this year.

The "Cost" metric shows the cost value for the selected dimension (usually on a media or placement (line item) level).

The "Tracked ads" metric shows the number of tracked ads (formerly known as impressions) and includes both rendered and served-but-not-rendered ads.

For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.

  1. Set the date range to Year to date.
  2. Select the Cost and Tracked ads metrics.
  3. Select the Campaign and Month dimensions to split the query results by campaign and month.

See clicks and tracked ads

Get data on the number of clicks and tracked ads for the last 28 days.

The "Tracked ads" metric shows the number of tracked ads (formerly known as impressions) and includes both rendered and served-but-not-rendered ads.

The "Clicks" metric shows the number of clicks for the selected dimension. A click occurs when a user interacts with the advertisement by engaging a mouse button (usually the left) while the mouse pointer is hovering over the advertisement.

For best results in Looker Studio, use the time series chart type.

  1. Set the date range to Last 28 days.
  2. Select the Tracked ads and Clicks metrics.
  3. Select the Date dimension to split the query results by date.

See conversions

Take a look at your conversions from the past week. In this example, we include campaign, line item, and tracking point details in the query.

The "Conversions" metric shows the number of all Conversion pageviews, displayed as a sum for all tracked conversion pages. It has predefined Uniqueness of 'No Repeat', which means that Conversion pageviews, generated by the same user within 15 minutes, are excluded.

For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.

  1. Set the date range to Last week.
  2. Select the Conversions metric.
  3. Select the Campaign, Date, Line item, Tracking point, and Tracking point ID dimensions to split the query results by these details.

See booked impressions for campaigns per media

Explore the booked impressions of your campaigns per media.

The "Booked impressions" metric shows the number of booked impressions for the selected dimension. An impression occurs when a user is exposed to an advertisement.

For best results in Looker Studio, use the table chart type.

  1. Set the date range to Last week.
  2. Select the Booked impressions metric.
  3. Select the Campaign and Media dimensions to sort the results by campaign and media.
