Advanced Settings for Excel

This guide gives you a list of the advanced settings available for Excel. This list is not exhaustive but will be updated over time to include all the advanced settings we support. 

To enable the advanced settings, please click on "Advanced Settings" under "Options", as in the screenshot below.

GET_PROMOTABLE_POSTSIdentifies only the posts that are eligible for promoting on Facebook.Recommended for fetching posts that can be promoted.
INCLUDE_ALL_PUBLISHED_POSTSFetches all Facebook Insights posts that match the query.Recommended if you encounter post level discrepancies.More information can be found here
INCLUDE_UNPUBLISHED_PROMOTABLE_POSTSFetches the Facebook dark posts. Dark posts are targeted ads on social media. Unlike boosted and organic posts, though, they don't appear on your timeline.
Recommended if you want to make targeted ads.


Includes Twitter Audience Network.

Twitter has two channels to advertise: Twitter Ads and Twitter Audience Network. Recommended if you would like to fetch data also from a Twitter Audience Network account. 
INCLUDE_ZERO_IMPRESSIONSDisplay all the campaigns with zero impressions in Google Ads.
Recommended if you want to look up for ads that are not yet active.

NO_DIMENSIONSDoes not display dimension headers.Recommended if you want to create a query without headers, or for example, it allows you to insert custom headers in a different language than English.
NO_METRIC_HEADER_COLUMNWhen fetching only metrics in the query with Facebook Ads, it does not include row headers in the result set.Recommended if you don't want to have headers in your report where you fetch only metrics without dimensions.
RETURN_NO_DATA_RESULTStores queries even if no data is returned.Recommended if you want to create a query with campaigns that have no data but could change and evolve in the future.

ROUND_METRICS_TO_XRounds the numbers to the amount of decimals you want, for example, 0 or 2. Inserts a number instead of X.  Recommended if you want to have a more appealing and visual report with your choice of decimals.
TIME_DIMENSION_FORMAT_m-yAllows replacing the dimension "m-y" with the format that you want.Recommended if you want a specific format in the dimension.

TIME_DISP_START_DATEShows the start date of a month or week instead of for example m|Y.Recommended if you want to make reports where the starting date of a week or month is displayed instead of the week/month number.
DIMENSIONS_MAX_LENGTH_XShortens the dimension value to X length (added by default to truncate long values from dimensions to avoid errors by the 50K cell character limit in Google Sheets).Recommended if you want to avoid errors from any data response including more than 50k characters would cause.
