How to save or copy API Query?

How does one save a SuperMetrics API query to use later?  I know I can copy the query text itself, but say I'd like to revisit the query but change something minor, like a filter, at a later date?

  • Hi Matt,
Sadly, right now you can't. There's no mechanism in the UI to save query setups or reload it from an existing URL. We're hoping to change that in the future when we rebuild the UI for that tool.

If you have the full URL, you can just make the change into the text directly if its adjusting the date or the filter string. It's less useful if you need a new field added (as you may not know the backend field name) or if the API key expired, but at least for minor things you can bypass the editor.
