Refresh failed FB post fetching error: (#10) To use 'Page Public Content Access', your use of this endpoint must be reviewed

I've never seen this error before when pulling FB insights stats:

Refresh failed FB post fetching error: (#10) To use 'Page Public Content Access', your use of this endpoint must be reviewed and approved by Facebook. To submit this 'Page Public Content Access' feature for review please read our documentation on reviewable features: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/review.

Is this an error with the supermetrics query or something else?

  • I just found the error like you. What should i do to fix it.
  • Same problem here!

  • Same problem here!  I think, if I understand it right, that the problem lies with Supermetrics.  They will have to validate their Facebook Page connector.  Probably in the wake of the GDPR-craze....

So, please, dear Supermetrics, help us out here!

  • We've seen similar with our own development projects - it's certainly something that can be worked around. Could someone at Supermetrics give us an idea of what they're doing to remedy this? This is a big hole in our reporting if this can't be fixed!

  • We're having issues pulling Lead Gen ad data too. Within Facebook Ad Manager this requires the Page permissions, so wonder if this is being caused by the same issue.

  • Hi All,

It's a known issue caused by Facebook that is affecting our app permissions. Please see this article for more information:

    https://support.supermetrics.com/support/solutions/articles/19000084712-facebook-insights-and-public-data-connector-issue-06-2018

Once we have more information from Facebook about the fix, we will let everyone know.

  • Facebook is showing the bug as being closed.

Is this working for anyone else? (Still not working for me)

  • Yes. Still not working.

  • We have this issue too - have messaged our account manager at Facebook.

    Would appreciate any timely updates.

  • Hi All,

The Facebook Insights issue has now been addressed and the queries should work again. Please retry your queries to verify this has been fixed for you. If you continue to have issues though, please submit your own private request with what your current state is and what error messages you are seeing:
