Calculated metrics in Google Analytics

Can I use this Calculated Metric by supermetrics? I could not find them in form menu.

Is the term/name "generic"  e.g. „calculated metric 1“ also not 1:1 naming in GA?

When I look for it, It shown only custom metrics. I would appreciate about your feedback!

Hi Frank,

all the metrics that are available in the Google Analytics, you should find from Supermetrics.

Could you please check their reports list and if you find any that are missing from Supermetrics, please let us know:

Ok could you post a screenshot or example? I could not found the calculated metric in the list supermetrics list. What naming are use? Same Name like in GA?

I dont could find the GA name "Avg. Order Value Exclude Shipping Cost".

Hi Frank,

I'm afraid that you cannot get those calculated metrics through Google Analytics API to Supermetrics. But I might be wrong if they have added them as a feature. That's why I sent you the link to see if you'd be able to find that they have added those.

At least earlier those were only available in GA's own website version.

Hello Jouni - thank you for your update! It is currently possible to export "standard" GA metrics in spreadsheet. I had assumed that this is also working with calculated GA metrics. If necessary, I extend the metrics directly into spreadsheet. I'm also looking forward to the metric export feature if the API allows this. Best, Frank

Hi Jouni,

calculated metrics are available through API. I have verified this using the link from your comment above :

Please confirm is those metrics will be available to select from Supermetrics query builder.

Thank you!

Can you confirm if they will be accessible through Supermetrics query builder?

Thanks!

I checked with SuperMetrics support and they said calculated metrics are not available in query builder yet. But you can add it manually in the SupermetricsQueries sheet.
