Connecting a facebook ads account created on business manager


I am trying to connect a Facebook ads account to Supermetrics.

This account was created via Business manager (not using a personal profile) and Supermetrics only lets me connect my personal profile and its advertising account.

Dos this mean that I won't be able to connect that account?

    to log out with another account, first go to Facebook, log out from there, then add in a new account from Supermetrics and use the correct FB logins when prompted.

    I have the same problem. Supermetrics is connecting to my personal ad account. My business ad accounts are linked to the same email address, so this process doesn't work. As soon as I log in to Facebook, Supermetrics only recognises the personal ad account. 

    how can I get around this? I've been going around in circles...



  • Hi Tim,

    unfortunately it seems that the only way to divert this on Facebooks side is to change the other account to a different email address, or you can ask Facebooks own support how to deal with this situation when their API is choosing the account automatically (if they have means to change the logic).
