Twitter Premium report building guide

Use the Twitter Premium data source to pull detailed data of your Tweets, and create historical reports to see how your audience's engagement has changed over time. You can compare the data from the Twitter Premium data source with your X Ads (Twitter) data to see how engagement for campaigns and organic posts differs.

Once you’ve connected to Twitter Premium, you’re ready to create your first query in Google Sheets, Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio), or Excel.

Query types for this data source

When connecting to the Twitter Premium data source, you need to select a query type. The query type defines what sort of metrics and dimensions are available.

  • Tweet engagements: Impression and engagement data for Tweets up to 90 days.
  • Common account information: General information about the profile, such as description, location, and friend and follower count.
  • Tweet historical: Data for Tweets older than 90 days. Note that the "Tweet historical" query type is available as a separately paid feature.
