Before you are able to connect your Verizon Media DSP account to Supermetrics, you will need to follow the below steps to obtain API access from Verizon, then enable the API and get your client ID and client secret.
Obtain API Access from Verizon
To connect Supermetrics to Verizon Media DSP, you will first need to obtain API access from Verizon. You will not be able to use the connector until this step is done.
You can do this by contacting your account manager at Verizon to whitelist the API access for your accounts. Note that API access must be granted for each ad account and for each "seat" you wish to access with Supermetrics.
Enable the API
To enable the API, please follow the One-Time Setup steps 1-7. This will activate the API for the account, and also allow you to get your client ID and client secret, which will be required to log in.
WARNING - The client ID and secret are only given once during this process, so please save them somewhere safe, like a password locker, so you can retrieve them when logging into Supermetrics. These are like a username and password to your accounts so treat them as such.
Logging into the Supermetrics Verizon Media DSP Data Source
Once you have your client ID and secret, you can now use those to log into the data source in your product of choice.
Please note that the Yahoo logins no longer work past August 4th, 2021. If you had a previous login with that type of account, it will no long function and you will need to follow the steps above to Enable the API.
If you have issues with the Supermetrics connection part of the process (after you have been approved for API access by Verizon and created your client ID and secret), please create a new support request with the details of the issue and we will assist you.
