I'm getting error when setting refresh window for BQ transfers

In case you can’t save refresh window to your transfer and you are prompted by the error message below, you might be affected by a UI bug in the new BQ Web UI.


There are two workarounds for this behaviour.


1 New user interface

  • Edit Refresh window from Destination settings


  • Edit temporarily any other field - for example set Schedule options Repeats to Weekly and then change it back to Daily


  • Click Save


2 Old user interface

  • Go to old UI at https://bigquery.cloud.google.com/
  • Navigate to Transfers and select the transfer you want to edit

  • Edit Refresh window, tick Third party agreement and click Save

  • In the Old UI you don’t need to temporarily change the Schedule option like in workaround #1
