Erros Facebook Connection


I already tried disconnecting and connecting the account and it still show error. This is a persistent error in this specific account. What would be a solution?

Community connector error: FB error: (#283) Requires manage_pages permission to manage the object. Please log out of the Facebook and then log in again. (Supermetrics request ID: i0n6UxxFsMgPgPzpQWAzLGaj4zbxAbk2). If the problem persists report an issue with the connector owner.

    Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the connector. This may be related to the API restrictions Facebook just recently passed, and you need to accept the updated permissions levels we need to make the connector work.


    The easiest thing is for me to delete the existing Facebook authentication tokens for your account which will force it to fully log back in. So now go log out and back into the data source. Make sure that you accept the permissions level opt-in popup from Facebook else our tool doesn't work.

    If that doesn't work, you may need to completely revoke Supermetrics from the Facebook account you are using to log in and re-authorize it. 

    Log into Facebook with the account that is being used in Supermetrics. Click on the (?) icon in the upper-right and select Privacy Shortcuts and then the link at the bottom "See More Settings". In the left-hand menu click on Apps.

    First, check that Apps, Websites and Plugins is "Enabled". If it's not, our tool won't work.



    If it is already enabled then there may be a problem with the permissions. Above you should see that Supermetrics is logged in. Hover over the icon and click the "x" to remove access.



    Now go try to log into Facebook with Supermetrics again. It should give you the chance to re-authorize the connection and opt in to certain levels of access to the account. Make sure that is accepted (else as noted prior, the tool won't work).
